September 2025: Updates From The Field

We are so encouraged by the resilience and hope we are seeing in the communities we serve. From equipping students in Egypt, to supporting orphans and families in Syria, to empowering farmers and entrepreneurs in Kenya, your prayers and partnership are helping people move from survival toward stability, dignity, and hope.

Here are the highlights from September!

EGYPT

Supporting Christian Students

In the remote town of Durunka, Central Egypt, Christian families face growing pressures that threaten to uproot them from their sacred homeland. Rising extremism has left many with little choice but to consider leaving for safer countries. Our team stepped in — this September, we provided schoolbooks, bags, and essential stationery for 150 Christian students, ensuring they are equipped for the new academic year.

JORDAN

Medical Support for Displaced Iraqis

In the wake of ISIS's invasion, many Iraqi Christians fled their destroyed villages, seeking refuge in Jordan. Today, around 75 of these families in Amman remain without help from the government or other organizations. We stepped in to cover the cost of hundreds of medical prescriptions, ensuring that displaced men, women, and children received the treatment they desperately needed.

KENYA

Rebecca's Success Story

In Narok County, Kenya, 63-year-old Rebecca Mitei Korir turned resilience and opportunity into a story of hope. With support from our team, she raised 200 chicks, selling 130 and keeping 70 to grow her small farm. The income from her efforts has already paid school fees for five orphans, provided hybrid maize seeds for planting, and even purchased an indigenous milk cow.

SYRIA

Community Kitchen Update

Last month, we shared about the launch of a community kitchen designed to bring both nourishment and opportunity to displaced Christians. This September, the project has grown into a vital lifeline. It is now leading cooking courses for Christian women and distributing daily meals and food packages, reaching around 500 Christians throughout the month.

Safe House in Damascus

In Damascus, more than 270 displaced Christians from the South have found refuge in a safe house within a monastery. Our team is ensuring this sanctuary remains a true haven by providing daily meals, fuel for generators, and support for the families of the guards who protect the monastery.
