May 2025: Updates From The Field

May was a month of growth, not only in crops and clinics, but in dignity, courage, and the self-sustaining strength of the local leaders and communities we serve. From the war-torn hills of Syria to the farmlands of Egypt, from the refugee children of Armenia to the nursing students of Kenya — your generosity is making a real, measurable difference.

ARMENIA

Over 50 displaced Christian children from Karabakh are receiving drug prevention education and structured support. By running targeted drug awareness programs and engaging activities, we're proactively protecting a generation of vulnerable kids from falling prey to addiction — a critical line of defense in a post-conflict environment.

EGYPT

Tens of tons of wheat have been harvested and will be distributed to over 2,000 Christian villagers. The project employs 45 local farmers, who will receive a portion of the wheat to be sold at market — allowing them to provide for their 350 family members. Altogether, this one field is feeding and sustaining over 2,350 individuals.

IRAQ

We began cultivating the returned lands of 30 Christian farmers, providing seeds, tools, and agricultural expertise to support immediate planting and prepare the soil for 3 to 4 more years of harvests. With over 1,200 people now benefiting, the initiative is about reclaiming dignity, independence, and the promise of a better future.

KENYA

Our 7-hectare farm is thriving, feeding over 150 students and building a foundation for long-term food sustainability. The anticipated harvest includes 40 sacks of maize and 15 sacks of beans — enough to feed Green Peak Academy and support Excel Academy as well.

Five nursing students from vulnerable families are excelling in their education with our support at Trans-Mara Kenya Medical Training College. Already thriving in clinical placements, they are showing promise as community health advocates.

LEBANON

Our medical clinic has turned into a full blown medical facility, treating over 100 patients weekly through pharmacy services, lab tests, dental care, and specialist visits. In an area of Christians facing dire need of medical care, our team has stepped up and is serving those who need help the most.

NIGERIA

120 hectares of farmland (maize, soybeans, and rice) are planted and thriving. Since last month's initiative to help 135 vulnerable women with sustainable agriculture, the fields are showing strong early growth — a strategic response to hunger, economic instability, and community empowerment.

SYRIA

35 Christian families in Tal Abyad are learning to raise bees and produce honey as a sustainable livelihood. In a region still suffering from conflict, these villagers are being equipped with the tools and training to produce and sell honey — a creative, low-cost, high-impact solution for economic stability.
