Agriculture Training in the Christian Villages of North Syria
Our new 10-day agriculture and vocational training program is equipping a new generation of Christian farmers in North Syria with the skills they need to cultivate their own land.
In the Christian villages of North Syria, agriculture has long been an important part of community life and family livelihoods. Our new 10-day agriculture and vocational training program is helping bring that tradition back to life by equipping a new generation of Christian farmers with the skills they need to cultivate their own land.
Through the program, approximately 25 beginner farmers are receiving hands-on training in planting and caring for a variety of fruit trees, including olives, cherries, apples, pears, and almonds. The goal is to give participants practical knowledge they can use to begin farming their own fields and create sustainable sources of food and income for their families.

The training will continue with instruction on winter vegetable planting, expanding the farmers' knowledge and allowing them to make productive use of their land throughout the year.
The impact of this project extends far beyond the farmers participating in the training. By strengthening agricultural skills and encouraging families to return to their fields, the program has the potential to help revitalize more than five Christian villages. Approximately 1,800 residents are expected to benefit directly and indirectly through these vocational training programs.
For communities that have endured years of hardship and displacement, restoring agriculture means more than growing crops. It means restoring livelihoods, strengthening families, and creating reasons for people to remain rooted in their communities.
Through practical training and investment in local farmers, we are helping Christian communities in North Syria plant the seeds for a more stable and hopeful future.
