TERI ATALLAH

Teri is the co-founder and director of the Blessing Projects. Her managerial and fundraising talents have contributed in significantly raising the profile of the organization. She considers helping others as her life’s calling and is affiliated with several other charitable organizations.

Teri is the chief program developer for Teach the Teacher at the Gethsemane Church and Schools in Sierra Leone. She is also a volunteer photographer for Africa New Life, an organization working on eradicating poverty in Rwanda through education. After Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, Teri volunteered for four years with the St. James Church to help low-income families and individuals struggling to rebuild their homes and neighborhoods.

Teri is also an accomplished photographer (www.terimoy.com), focusing on lifestyle and architectural photography. A series of portraits called “Disappearing Asia” is among her most famous works and is now considered a historical collection of artworks. 

Teri has a bachelor's degree in art history and a minor in business administration from Mills College. She received her master’s degree in Education from Shenandoah University and studied architecture at Tulane University.

Her ever-present hope is to raise awareness of the needs of the less fortunate throughout the world and help deliver essential assistance and spiritual guidance to those who need it most.
